1. Overview of Data Protection

This Privacy Policy explains how Licencify (Licencify i.G.) processes personal data and technical metadata. We prioritize data minimization, GDPR compliance, and system security.

2. Local Metadata Processing & Pseudonymization

Unlike traditional SAM tools, Licencify uses a Secure Local Gateway container running within your own network perimeter. The Gateway queries your databases in read-only mode and performs:

• Local Cleansing: Stripping database schemas, user table configurations, user passwords, and internal user activity.
• Pseudonymization: IP addresses and system hostnames are hashed or removed before transfer.
• TLS Encryption: Only clean, pseudonymized licensing parameters (e.g. CPU core counts, feature flags) are synchronized to our German analytics servers using HTTPS/TLS 1.3.

3. Lead & Contact Forms

When you contact us, apply for a Pilot Program, or request a demo, we collect:

• First and Last Name
• Corporate Email Address
• Company Name
• Approximate database counts and optional details you provide

This data is used strictly to establish and manage your pilot account, schedule demos, and coordinate compliance reviews. We do not share your contact details with third-party software vendors.
